This Sickens Me to No End
You know something is terribly screwed up in our country when a parent takes a toddler or child to the doctor's office for a common problem or routine check up, and just because the child may have a small bruise or scrap somewhere, and immediately the parent is looked at with suspicion.
And yet the same time, Planned Parenthood is protecting child rapists all the time! This kind of blatant illegal behavior just absolutely infuriates me!!

That poor girl should be taken away from her mother. If she isn't willing to punish and get rid of the boyfriend there is probley other abuse going on in the house. More than likely the girl is being blamed by the mother that she (the daughter) caused it somehow.
my old neighbors had this issue.... and the mom stayed married to the guy. Such a pathetic situation, that can apparently be found all over the wonderful USA.

I know exactly what you mean. I haven't ever had to take Jacob to the hospital and my Dr. is great. But young boys and girls just seem to trip and fall. Jacob usually has some bruise on his knee from banging into something. Once tripped and landed on the corner of our coffee table and had a lil bobo on his face for a while. I always wonder what other people are thinking.
I broke my leg once when I was lil, and boy did my mom ever get run over and me asked a million questions. It really is sad. It had nothing to do with her, just my clumsyness. But the interrogation and assumptions are really redictlious.
Oh congrats on your find in your previous post!! Jacob loves Thomas things - but when it comes to Thomas toys he is limited - the origional price is soooo much. That find is soooooo exciting.

They are expensive. Sometimes you can find great deals on used Thomas items on ebay. Thats what I like to do, especially if I know I am buying them for the boys to play with.
